MITCHELL SUMNER
Sunday, 1/3 – 5 PM
Mitchell Sumner, a native Portlander, is a true believer in the past, yet unbelievably excited about the possibilities of today. His intricate writing style recalls an era in music that has now unfortunately passed; a time where the progression was king, and a true icon was known for his or her song-writing ability. A multi-instrumentalist, Mitch draws from older influences such as the lush harmonies and complex arrangements of The Beatles and The Beach Boys, but adds his own contemporary quirk and flavor. His psychedelic pop is multi-layered, infectious, and classic.

MOB ROYALLE
Friday, 1/8 – 6 PM
You’ll sometimes hear a bit of rock guitar in the background of Mob’s hip-hop music. Many times he’ll throw in strings and choirs and he even has songs that are entirely orchestral and choral scores. A member of multiple musical worlds, Mob’s belief is that if he can be a diverse artist, and be good enough for people to listen to in multiple styles of music, he can get his message across to more and more people, and give them music that they’ll enjoy.
